The Jan/Feb Issue of New Hampshire HOME is on the stands and I am so excited to be included in a home shoot. Earlier last year I worked on a custom fabric order, for a set of pillows. I was contacted by Lee Perrault of Via Design (I've written about Lee before) we are birds of a colorful feather, and she was very excited that one of her clients loved my work and agreed to have pillows made. For those of you unable to get he paper copy, NH HOME just put the current issue on-line, you can breeze through pages until you get to pps 60-61 where the pillows are pictured. The feature article is titled "A Perennially Adaptable Home".
I thought I'd include photos again of my process with Lee, and you can check the final product! Enjoy.

This is a great photo set, Nicole. The shot in the magazine doesn't really do justice to how your design pulls the room together. But looking at the first couple of home shots, you can see how the pillows work with the color and pattern of the rug, chair-and-a-half and ottoman. I didn't even notice the rug in the magazine, except as a background neutral UNTIL I saw the other shots. Now its really fun to see how the pillows play with the rug. They were meant for each other.
ReplyDeleteHi Anon, I like showing process. It helps creative people to understand our influences. Kind of like cooking a pinch from here and a pinch from there makes a delicious treat!
